End User License Agreement (EULA) for Cook A Dish

This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you ("User" or "you") and the developers of Cook A Dish ("we," "us," or "our") for the use of the Cook A Dish recipe management application ("Application"). By downloading, installing, or using the Application, you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Application.

1. License Grant

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Application for personal, non-commercial purposes, free of charge, in accordance with the terms of this EULA.

2. No Warranty

The Application is provided "as is" without any warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Application will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted, or that it will meet your expectations or requirements.

3. Creator Content & User-Generated Content Policy

Creator Content refers to all recipes, photos, comments, ratings, and any other material that users (“Creators”) author and share within the Application. Creator Content is treated as **user-generated content (UGC)** under Apple App Store Guideline 1.2.1 and must comply with all moderation requirements outlined in this EULA.

You agree not to use the Application for any illegal, unlawful, or abusive activities, including but not limited to:

• Engaging in any activity that violates local, state, national, or international laws or regulations.
• Posting, sharing, or distributing objectionable content, including but not limited to content that is offensive, hateful, discriminatory, defamatory, pornographic, threatening, or otherwise inappropriate.
• Engaging in abusive behavior, including harassment, bullying, or intimidation of other users.
• Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Application.
• Using the Application in a manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair its functionality or interfere with other users' enjoyment of the Application.

We maintain a **zero-tolerance policy** for objectionable Creator Content and abusive users. Any violation will result in immediate removal of the content, termination of your access, and may lead to further action, including reporting to relevant authorities.

4. Content Moderation and User Reporting

We are committed to maintaining a safe and respectful environment for all users. The Application includes the following mechanisms to moderate Creator Content in compliance with App Store Guideline 1.2.1:

• Content Filtering: Automated and manual moderation tools detect and prevent posting of objectionable Creator Content before it becomes visible.
• Flagging Mechanism: Users can report any Creator Content via the “Report” button. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team.
• Blocking Mechanism: Users can block other Creators through profile settings; blocked users cannot interact with the reporting user.
• Response Time: All reports are reviewed and acted upon within 24 hours. Violating content is removed and the responsible Creator may be ejected.

5. Age Rating & Purchase Disclosure

The Application’s age rating reflects the **highest age-rated Creator Content** available. Any Creator Content that requires additional purchases (e.g., premium recipe packs) will be clearly marked within the app before purchase.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access at our sole discretion, without notice, for any violation of this EULA, including posting prohibited Creator Content. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Application and delete any copies in your possession.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the Application, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

8. Governing Law

This EULA shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developers of Cook A Dish are based, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

9. Changes to this EULA

We may update this EULA from time to time. Changes will be posted within the Application or on our website and become effective immediately upon posting. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
